February 26, 2013: QCers Wanted: As you may have noticed, we here at #honobono are not releasing stuff at a very good pace. From time to time, our members are very busy; sometimes reality bites. To counter this slow trend, we are hoping to have another quality-checker (QCer) or two who are willing to help with the HCR/GfW projects (you can help with only one of the two projects if you'd like, or you can help with both). A QCer for these series should be a fan of old shows (HCR is from 1992, GfW is from 1991). Of course, you should be good at grammar and such to be a QCer, because basically a QCer tries to find errors, if any. It would be ideal if you’re good at rephrasing a sentence creatively so that it will sound more natural, without changing the meaning (though you don’t need to be exceptionally good at it; a QCer is not an editor). More importantly, you’ll need enough free time. Anyway, if you are interested (or if you are willing to help in any other areas, not only QC), please feel free to join #honobono @ irc.aniverse.com and talk to OPs. If you have any questions, you can also ask in our forums. Thank you very much.
